We had a great last few days catching up with Marshall's grandparents and extended family on his mom's side of the family. We hadn't seen them in a year so everyone was excited to see the toddler version of Tyson.  We showed Tyson around Marshall's grandparents property, checked out the dogs in the kennel they run, and strolled through their bamboo forest which has nearly doubled in size since our last visit.

We figured out that Tyson had a double ear infection which explains why he was cranky on the flight to Texas. We took him to the doctor who gave him medicine and now  he is feeling much happier. Tomorrow we are headed on an 8 hour road trip to Oklahoma to visit Marshall's dad's side of the family. Tyson has never been in a car for that long so we hope he does well. Fingers crossed!
